Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from Vodafone UK News

As the Vodafone UK News Centre team heads off for a Christmas break, we look back over what has been a very tough year for many of us.

A year dominated by coronavirus and lockdowns saw Vodafone switching quickly to home working, helping our customers over digital channels, shoring up our network to keep the UK connected, and supporting everyone we could – from NHS and care home workers, to job seekers and schoolchildren – with free connectivity, data, and discounted deals.

So it was a very busy year for Vodafone UK, and the News Centre in our first year of operation.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the top five best-read articles over the year were to do with how we responded to the pandemic and kept the UK connected.

  2. Vodafone to offer 30 days of free unlimited mobile data
  3. Six months unlimited data for NHS and care workers
  4. Vodafone UK gives NHS workers free unlimited data for 30 days
  5. Store closures: How we can help our customers

But we produced a lot of other interesting stories, features and videos to keep our readers informed and entertained – some of which you might have been surprised to find originating from a technology communications company!

Here are 10 of our favourites in case you missed them first time round.
